To commemorate International Workers’ Day on May 1, public and private sector organisations across the UAE hosted a series of nationwide events to celebrate the vital contributions of workers.
Under the theme ‘Honouring Our Workers’, the celebrations included a wide range of activities such as distributing gifts, recognising outstanding employees across various sectors, including domestic workers, and visiting those recovering in hospitals from occupational injuries.
