Four Bangladeshi Expats from Malaysia Receive “Human Harmony Award 2025” in the Maldives

Online Desk: At the Human Harmony Conference 2025, organized by the Asian Business Partnership Summit, four distinguished Bangladeshi expatriates from Malaysia were honored with the Human Harmony Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions to social harmony and developmental activities. This year’s summit recognized a total of 40 eminent personalities from eight countries, including Bangladesh.

The award ceremony took place on Thursday night (October 9) at the Villa International College Auditorium in the Maldivian capital, Malé.

The award recipients from Malaysia are:

Kaiser Hamid Hannan, Staff Correspondent of NTV and Vice President of the Malaysia Bangladesh Community Press Club, Mohammad Ali, Malaysia Representative of DBC News and Kaler Kantho, CIP Shahab Uddin, Director of MD Global Resource Sdn Bhd, and Ananya Afrin, crowned winner of Miss Stars Universe Malaysia and Bangladeshi model.

The event’s chief guest was Mohammad Muthalib, State Minister for Fisheries and Ocean Resources of the Maldives. In his brief remarks, the minister emphasized the importance of promoting human harmony, education, healthcare, tourism, and industrial development.

Among the special guests were Ahmed Saeed Mustafa, Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning of the Maldives; Ananda Prasad Pokharel, former Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal; Hussain Nihadh, Deputy Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation of the Maldives; and Abdul Jalil Ismail, Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Maldives.

The program was presided over by Golam Faruk Majnu, Executive Director of the Asian Business Partnership Summit. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of human harmony for global peace and development and called for easier visa policies among Asian nations to enhance international trade and tourism.

Speakers at the event underscored the need for strengthening human harmony, improving education and healthcare, enhancing regional cooperation, developing the tourism industry to global standards, and expanding partnerships in international trade.

The Bangladeshi awardees expressed their gratitude, saying they felt deeply honored to receive such a prestigious Asian recognition as representatives of Bangladesh. They added that this achievement showcases Bangladesh positively on the international stage and will inspire them to continue contributing to their respective fields in the future.
