UAE residents can expect a fair day on May 3, according to a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Dust will blow during daytime, as a result of light to moderate winds. These winds will blow at speeds of 10kmph to 25kmph, reaching up to 35kmph, in a southeasterly to northwesterly direction. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
Last month, the country saw its hottest April in over a decade; the weather agency has previously urged residents to exercise caution amid rising temperatures.
These guidelines include drinking plenty of fluids, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight, avoiding outdoor activities during peak hours, and wearing light-coloured and cotton clothing. It is also essential to use hats and sunglasses outside, and avoid proper ventilation in closed spaces.
